It can take from days to weeks.. depending on a number of factors..
If you lack the patience to wait or free indexing doesn't help.. you can always find a premium indexing service and try your luck there..
Then again since another Google update took place I'd suggest patience instead of spending money on indexing.. well unless this single link is so significant.
Ps if ahrefs doesn't work, check moz or semrush.. you'll always see differences in results . The best way to see your backlinks, is your search console.

When we ASS U ME... the result is that we make an ass out of both you and me!!

Ahrefs, moz, semrush are nothing more than.. you or me measuring our dick for confidence.

When you realize that a vagina is made to "export" a little humans head.. then you'll understand how insignificant are their metrics in front of Google's .(unless you hang like an elephant)

When and if you see your backlinks listed in your search console links tab... then they are of some significance.. otherwise let them all scream and yell ... Google shows the finger
Since Google doesn't recognize their metrics

Almost no interest...
google no longer takes into account isolated links in signatures or on profile pages.
The only real interest of a link today is that it is integrated into a high quality content.
But hey, one more link can't hurt. But if you make 10,000 links like this one, then you're in for a world of hurt

this is the only valid answer. i am warning ppl not to use those backlink lists which features sites that have 100-1000+ comments.

Not going to argue since I already said that da scores mean nothing to G.
But its interesting how G accepts these links even though so much talk about the opposite is taking place..

Only G knows I guess...
Since they undoubtedly are spam links by definition.. and G sees them and doesn't penalize my site.. there must be a bigger picture we don't know of or don't see.

Sure only G knows. If they say its bad practice and against their policy i trust them and wont do such things. A penalty doesnt necessary mean you lose all of your ranks or drop hard.
