(HELP)Homemade camera to monitor a kid

Hello dear people of Babiato!

Well here is the deal:
I want to go for a run early morning with my wife but we have a small child sleeping.
He doesn't wake up usually early morning but one of us always keep an eye on him anyway, while the other one is having a morning run.

I was thinking to monitor him while running and I am not sure how to achieve this without buying IP camera. Note that I can't open ports on my router - ISP won't let me.
Is there a way to use my PC camera to monitor my kid so I can see him on my phone while running? I have VPS server so I could use that for a streaming but not sure how to do it.
Can anyone recommend solution, maybe some free software? thanks!

IP Camera dosn't need configureany port in your router.

I want to however turn my old android phone into a camera. I dont want to buy anything.

I believe I found the solution, I might post the results in here once I test this.

If I was you I wouldn’t risk it your never forgive yourself if anything happened. At the end of the days it’s whats more important the run or the safety of your kid. God forbid that some nasty person see you both leave and know you have a kid in there or the house was to go on fire or he has a fit or something. It doesn’t bare thinking about

I see your point there, but I consider it very safe considering my own situation. House is well secured, and we are running withing 50 yard radius, which gives us option to be with him in 1 minute if needed. Another layer of security would be an camera so I can be sure he is alright. Hope this comforts you a bit. I would never risk my sons life.
