By default, OpenCart does not cache data about products in the cart.
Every time the page is refreshed, a lot of unnecessary queries are sent to the database.
With a large number of items in the cart, this can significantly slow down the speed of the site.
For example, a user put 10 items in the cart, which means at least 80 queries to the database.
