downloaded this and installed. Unable to connect to database. I am sure my credentials are correct.

you shouldn't get this error if your credentials are correct, double check
I did. I even tried logging in using the credentials via mysql. Works fine. Weird issue though.
open .env file and change APP_DEBUG=false to APP_DEBUG=true, refresh the page and tell us the error
Managed to make it work by manually changing the credentials in the .env file now error 404.
