If looking for cheap yet good server config, you can try hosting by babiato user @adderall which us litemere hosting. Do give it a try. I subscribed to this hosting yesterday itself. Though i cant comment much on this hosting as m pretty new to this hosting, but as far as price and features are concerned, this hosting is very reasonable.
Otherwise, you can go for some recognized hosting companies offering cheap and good hosting like hawkhost.com, crocweb.com
If looking for something better but little more pricey, then go for mdd hosting.

I personally can say that I don't know of many cause I stop paying other companies like that and started my own back in 2008, then stopped briefly but started again now in 2014. I have many clients who are hosted with me and happy, so you can definitely get quality hosting through https://dctshosting.com (DCTS Solutions) and get total transparent information, honesty.
I would recommend https://www.egensajt.se/webbhotell/ - Swedish hosting that has optimize the servers for wordpress hosting. It cost about 2 dollar/month.

Nah, you signup for something reliable such as Racknerd. They charge the same price every year. Assume that, 3.5 GB RAM, 3x vCPU, 45 GB SSD, 7.5 TB monthly Bandwidth at just $29 per year. They don't charge any anything extra than that each year! However, they provide unmanaged VPS in that price so you have to setup by yourself.

eurobia used to has free hosting but they stopped it lately. that limits was for the free hosting

well it's good for small and medium size websites. for wordpress it seems ok.
