500 Internal Server Error in Wordpress

Hi All,

I have WordPress Site Runs On below Specs,

AWS
---

8 GB Memory
2 Core Processor
160 GB SSD Disk
5 TB Transfer*

-----------------

Everything Works Very well and Fast, but when i try to upload plugin from backend after sometime it Gives me 500 Internal Server Error, Can't install or Update Plugins from Dashboard, For Now im updating my plugins via FTP.

But Frontend Working Fine,

I'm on PHP 8.1, is there any reason for this ?

First troubleshoot advice.

1. From ftp rename the plugin folder e.g plugins-old
2. Now check if the 500 error is still at the backend.

Try this first

Mininum on php 7.4 on wp. Try to change php 7.4 on your server. If still error. Please check htaccess on root

I've heard about this platform, but unfortunately haven't had time to test it yet.

You can find Hestia's instructions and increase the values: memory_limit, max_execution_time, max_input_time. Post_max_size can be increased if needed.

Try a lower PHP version.

Try accessing the file path change wp-theme and wp-plugin add old at the back of the folder as @michaeladewale instructions.

Don't forget to back up a copy before doing anything.
